Sunridge Medical Practice voted best in Bromley

The NHS England GP Patient Survey allows patients to rate GP surgeries on a variety of performance factors from making an appointment to the level of care they received from medical professionals.

The best GP surgery in Bromley according to patients’ ratings was Sundridge Medical Centre in Bromley which received a 91.01 percent rating for “Overall Satisfaction.”

A South East London Integrated Care Board spokesperson said: “We are working with individual practices in Bromley to ensure that everyone in the borough can access high quality primary care services when they need them. 

“As the NHS continues to recover from the impact of the Covid pandemic, while facing increased demand and recruitment challenges, we are working together to tackle the most common issues raised by patients: getting through to their practice and speedy access to appointments. 

“Practices now offer more evening and weekend appointments and we are working with them to improve telephone and online access. Practices now also host care coordinators, who, where appropriate, can direct patients to other sources of health advice.

“Bromley residents can now self-refer to a range of other services, such as physiotherapy, which are often based in GP practices.

“NHS England recently published the health service’s first national workforce plan and a national primary care recovery plan centred on improving access – both backed by major investment.”
